Hello! My name is Kristen Morley and I am the founder and owner of Owl Hollow Nature Play, LLC., where we focus on child-led play and nature-based early learning. I have 20 years of teaching experience and hold a bachelor's degree and master's degree in Elementary Education and Reading. Currently, I work as a Reading Specialist for children in Grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Although this work is fulfilling, my strongest passion has always been for outdoor experiential education, early learning and learning through play!
I decided to incorporate these elements to create Owl Hollow Nature Play, LLC and the rest is history! We offer nature-based learning groups for kids newborn to 12 years old. My educational philosophy for Owl Hollow Nature Play is greatly inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. I believe in offering all children the opportunity to grow and learn socially, emotionally, physically and academically. I believe offering these opportunities in an outdoor and natural setting is the most beneficial for our little ones! I hope to see you at Owl Hollow Nature Play sessions in the future! |
