What is Owl Hollow Nature Play?

Nature playgroups designed to support early learning through nature. Our programs are designed for kids ages newborn through age 12. Our playgroups for ages newborn through age 6 are focused on growing, learning and skill-building through nature-based play. Our STEM sessions for kids ages 6-12 are focused on science, technology, engineering and math amidst nature and using natural elements. Come check us out!

What happens during our Acorns & Yearling Nature Playgroups
​(Ages 1-6)?

Playgroups are typically themed and incorporate a short read aloud, a song or two, time to observe nature, sensory play and integration, pretend play, gross and fine motor activities, and open-ended play with loose parts. There is a healthy balance between structured time and time to free play using the elements of nature! 90 minutes can be a lengthy amount of time for little ones, so if your child needs a break mid-way through, feel free to do this!
